We started 4.1 this week, and we learned Antiderivatives, which is pretty much just following simple short steps. It the problem doesn’t ask for the Antiderivative, it will ask for the general solution. The formula for finding the antiderivative: ax^#; a/#+1 x^#+1 **To make this easier you have to know all of the derivatives for trig (like cos=-sin, sin=cos.. ect.). Here’s an example of what the problem and instructions would look like: Find the general solution to y’=2. Y=2x+c for this problem you have to work the derivative backwards. So you know if the derivative is 2, you know the general solution would be 2x. **Be aware that you have to but +c after every problem or it WILL be wrong.
