So we did some chapter 5, and... i liked it! hahahaha it's some pretty simplistic stuff when you keep up with it. what we are doing includes the derivatives of natural logs
d/dx ln(x)=1/x x d/dx
1 over inside multiplied by derivative of the inside
d/dx lnx^2= 1/x^2 x 2x= 2x/x^2=2/x
exponents:
raising numbers to a variable, recopy then multiply by the derivative of the exponent
x^3x= x^3x x 3 = 3x^3x
ln e^x=7
ln e cancels out
x=7
pretty basic stuff, remember your log properties and formulas and you do well!
