For this blog I'm going to review limits at infinity. This was probably the easiest stuff we learned this year (which is why its my favorite), as well as easy to remember.
Rules for limits at infinity:
By looking at the problem,(generically a fraction)you should be able to figure it out if you remember the ruels
1.If the degree of the top is larger than the bottom, the limit is either infinity or negative infinity
2.If the degree of the bottom is larger than the top, the limit is zero
3.If the degree of the bottom is equal to the top, you take the coefficients
ex 1: X^2 + 4 / x^3
ignore everything but the degree terms
the limit is 0
ex 2: x^2 + 2x + 3 / x^2
the limit is 1
ex 3: x^5 + 12123123123123x^4 + 27923874923847293847x / x^3
the limit is infinity
